Imants has developed a new lightweight version of its well-known RecyclingDresser: the RecyclingDresser 1.3. This compact machine is specifically designed for use with lighter tractors and enables targeted maintenance on smaller surfaces. The machine is available immediately through Heybroek, the exclusive distributor of Imants in the Netherlands.

The operating principle of the RecyclingDresser remains familiar: the machine brings soil up from the sublayer, breaks it open and then distributes the material evenly across the surface. This breaks through compacted layers, reduces soil compaction and improves water permeability and oxygen supply. The new 1.3-metre version mainly stands out due to its lighter construction. While earlier models are equipped with a rear roller, this version works with a new toothed flap. This not only makes the machine considerably lighter, but also results in a neater and more even distribution of the loosened material. The new flap also speeds up drying after treatment.

Ideal for smaller maintenance work

According to Roelof Moek, Area Manager Green Technology at Heybroek, Imants developed this lightweight version in response to a clear demand: 'Many soil cultivation machines are large and heavy. This new version is intended specifically for smaller areas and for users working with lighter tractors. It allows you to carry out very targeted maintenance in places where the soil needs extra attention.' Examples include public green spaces, sports parks, natural playgrounds or problem zones where water remains or where the soil receives insufficient oxygen. Golf courses can also benefit: small challenging terrain sections, problem spots around trees or areas with poorer drainage can be treated precisely and selectively.

'The machine is less expensive than the larger models and easy to transport'

The familiar RecyclingDresser models with working widths of 1.60 m, 1.90 m and 2.20 m will remain available. These have been on the market for some time and are mainly used for larger surfaces. Heybroek expects considerable interest in the new lightweight version. Moek: 'The machine is less expensive than the larger models and easy to transport. Many contractors and managers already have a light tractor they can use immediately. That makes it very accessible.'
