Fieldmanager stands head and shoulders above in trade magazine survey sports sector

An independent telephone survey among 132 professionals in the sports sector shows that trade magazine Fieldmanager clearly stands out from the rest. The magazine is not only mentioned most often spontaneously, but also scores highly in appreciation.


Research

At the beginning of October, NWST, publisher of among others Fieldmanager, commissioned an external research agency to carry out a telephone survey among 132 professionals from the sports sector. The respondents worked for municipalities (58%), the green and sports industry (17%) and sports clubs (25%).

The results leave little room for doubt: Fieldmanager is mentioned first by 78% of respondents, followed by Stad + Groen (9.1%) and Sportaccom (5.3%). Looking at total awareness, Fieldmanager is mentioned by no less than 96% of those surveyed. Appreciation is also high: Fieldmanager scores an average of 7.82 on a scale of 1 to 10 - the highest score of all trade magazines surveyed.

What do readers still miss in trade magazines?

The researchers also asked which topics the target group misses in the current trade magazines. Respondents mentioned, among others:


More attention for natural grass instead of artificial turf


More attention for maintenance of artificial turf


Technical depth such as machine operations and mowing techniques


Sensor and data analysis for tailor-made maintenance


Water management and natural weed control


Insight into life cycle costs of sports fields (artificial and natural)
