New commercial director to professionalise sales and accelerate international growth
As of 1 April, Ype Oldenhuis (44) has started as commercial director at Frisian Motors. He joins from Heffiq Intern Transport B.V., where he worked as sales manager. Before that, he was active as development manager at Agrifac Machinery B.V..
Oldenhuis is tasked with further professionalising the sales organisation and expanding international activities. In addition to existing markets such as Germany and Belgium, the company is focusing on growth in Scandinavia, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Focus on growth outside the Netherlands
With this appointment, Frisian Motors is responding to the growing demand for electric off-road vehicles, including in green management and among site managers. Expansion into new markets is intended to support this growth.

Oldenhuis succeeds Theo de Jong in the commercial role. De Jong will remain as managing director and will focus more on the company's strategic development.
Growing player in electric equipment
Frisian Motors produces electric vehicles suitable for use in, among other things, public space and rural areas. The company has around 30 employees and produces more than 200 vehicles annually.
