Osmaļa Netherlands announced today, Monday, February 17, that it has acquired a second Dutch landscaping company: Van der Drift Hoveniers. The South Holland-based landscaping company from Wateringen operates in both the private and business markets. French landscaping company Osmaļa entered the Dutch market at the end of October by acquiring contractor collective T&G Groep. Following this acquisition, T&G Groep immediately rebranded as Osmaļa Netherlands.

The name Van der Drift Hoveniers will remain unchanged. While T&G Groep immediately transitioned into Osmaļa Netherlands, the names of the four individual companies that comprised the T&G Groep contractor collective remained unaltered, including Terrein en Groenvoorziening BV and Heesakkers Infra.
The integration of Van der Drift aligns seamlessly with Osmaļa Netherlands' growth ambitions. CEO Hans Smulders of Osmaļa Netherlands stated last October in an interview with trade magazine Stad+Groen that the French landscaping company is actively seeking small and medium-sized businesses in the Dutch green management sector willing to join Osmaļa. Osmaļa has announced its ongoing search for new companies to expand its platform: 'We are eager to welcome other businesses that share our values: local entrepreneurship, sustainability, and quality.'
Continuity in business operations
Both parties emphasize that the current management of Van der Drift will remain in place and continue daily operations. Director Niels van der Drift will stay on as Business Unit Manager. 'This ensures continuity in operations, allowing customers and employees to rely on the trusted service and expertise that has characterized Van der Drift for decades,' said Smulders.
