Importer further expands cooperation with Chinese manufacturer
Machine importer Knopert from Raalte is expanding the product range of Chinese manufacturer Sunseeker. In addition to the robotic mowers that have been available on the Dutch market since April, the company is now also bringing the 60-volt battery-powered tools from this Asian brand to the Netherlands.

Since the introduction of the Sunseeker robotic mowers earlier this year, several Dutch dealers have already been selling these machines. 'In the Netherlands, the focus is currently on Sunseeker's robotic mowers,' says director Jeroen Knopert in an interview with Mechaman.nl. 'But it might also be interesting for our dealers to offer the battery tools. They are completely free to decide for themselves.'
Expansion with 60-volt tools
Sunseeker has been manufacturing machines with two-stroke engines since 2006. In its early years, the company mainly produced for other major brands, but it now markets its own product line. This includes lawnmowers, brushcutters, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and chainsaws, all powered by a 60-volt battery system.
Responding to market demand
With this expansion, Knopert says it is responding to the growing demand for emission-free equipment in the green sector. The company sees Sunseeker's battery technology as a logical extension of its existing range of robotic machines. 'Electric and autonomous work complement each other perfectly,' says Knopert. 'More and more landscapers and green maintenance professionals want quiet, sustainable and low-maintenance equipment. With this expansion, we can offer them a more complete package.'
