Dutch field managers receive exclusive introduction to Allett OMNIA |

At the end of March, a delegation of Dutch field managers travelled to the Allett Mowers factory in Hixon, UK, for an exclusive presentation of the new OMNIA. The machine, developed by the British brand as an innovative step in professional sports turf maintenance, was presented to European users for the first time during the visit.
Representing several professional football organisations were Mario Spaans (Feyenoord), Henk Slootweg and Bo Videler (AH Vrij, responsible for the stadium pitches of ADO Den Haag and Sparta Rotterdam), and Henry de Weert (FC Twente). They were accompanied by Arjen Spek and Cees Pijl from Milati Grass Machines.
Upon arrival in Hixon, the group was welcomed by CEO Austin Jarrett, International Sales Manager Dave Allett and Director of Engineering John Gittins. The programme began with an extensive tour of the factory, where the Dutch visitors gained insight into the machine production process. This was followed by the presentation of the new OMNIA. The Dutch field managers were given a first: they were the first European users to test the machine in practice. The first day concluded with a joint dinner where experiences, insights and ideas were exchanged.
Feedback
On the second day, John Gittins gave a presentation on the development of the OMNIA, illustrated with a timeline of the design process. The Dutch field managers then shared their initial practical experiences and provided feedback to Allett's engineering team. After an informative and inspiring two-day visit, the delegation returned to the Netherlands with new insights and experiences related to the introduction of this development in professional sports turf management.
