Heemskerk brings more than twenty years of international experience in strategy and business operations. He studied Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology and started his career at Bain & Company. He later held management positions at companies including SBM Offshore and 2-B Energy.
Experience in energy and industry
In his most recent role, Heemskerk was commercial director at Sif Group, where he was active in the offshore wind sector. According to idverde, this background in energy and infrastructure aligns with broader challenges in the living environment, such as climate adaptation and sustainability. With his appointment, the company opts for a leader with experience in growth and transformation. This is relevant in a market where municipalities and contractors increasingly demand integrated solutions for the management and design of outdoor spaces.
