The introduction of the TT6-Traffic at the Groene Sector Vakbeurs last January has clearly created movement in the market. What started as a practical solution for roadside tree care has quickly developed into a concept attracting broad interest. Concrete demand for this integrated chipper-trailer combination is coming not only from the Netherlands, but also from neighbouring countries.
| With an empty weight of 1,900 kilos, the TT6-Traffic remains within the maximum permitted 3,500-kilo unit weight when fully loaded and can therefore simply be towed behind a work van |
That demand has now led to the next step: a production line has been launched. This is not large-scale mass production, but targeted custom work. Several units are currently being assembled, with each configuration tailored to the specific wishes of the customer. This flexibility in execution is proving to be a distinguishing factor. From machine layout to additional features and finishing, the Först TT6-Traffic is built around the work process, not the other way around.
Proven foundation, well-considered engineering
The basis of the Först TT6-Traffic is far from experimental. The design has been extensively tested and meets all relevant requirements and inspections. This gives customers not only an innovative solution, but also the certainty of a technically proven concept. The combination consists of a rotating Först TT6 chipper mounted on a three-axle trailer chassis with an integrated tipping bunker. The rotating infeed makes working along roads or in confined situations considerably more efficient and safer.
Self-sufficient and balanced
A major advantage of the Först TT6-Traffic is its complete self-sufficiency. The machine operates independently of the towing vehicle, partly thanks to its own power system for the warning sign, lighting and controls. In practice, this means no extra connections, no dependency and immediate deployment. In addition, the combination is so well balanced that manoeuvring, even when fully loaded, does not become a limiting factor. This makes the machine suitable for a wide range of working conditions, from urban environments to infrastructure projects.
Reliability in delivery and service
The Först TT6-Traffic is delivered and maintained under full warranty by the parties involved. The cooperation between LMB Van Ginkel, Wemint & Kuiphuis and Först combines practical experience, technical expertise and proven components. For the end user, this translates into reliability, clear service agreements and continuity in operation.

Practical experience confirms potential
The first experiences in the field have been consistently positive. Users especially appreciate the combination of flexibility and efficiency. Pruning and maintenance work can be carried out with fewer transport movements and less equipment deployment, without compromising on capacity or safety. These qualities have not gone unnoticed. Interest in the Först TT6-Traffic has also been shown by various government authorities, particularly because of its suitability for work along public roads and in green space management. The Först TT6-Traffic is therefore developing from a smart customer-driven solution into a fully-fledged addition to the modern machinery fleet of arborists and green contractors.
