Compact electric commercial vehicle competes for international award
The electric commercial vehicle Farizon V7E has been nominated for the International Van of the Year 2027 award. The vehicle is therefore in the running for one of the most important international awards for light commercial vehicles. For Farizon, it is the second consecutive nomination after the larger Farizon SV finished second in last year's competition.

Second consecutive nomination highlights growing ambitions in electric commercial vehicles

The nomination underlines Farizon's ambition to secure a position in the European electric commercial vehicle market. The brand focuses on companies, municipalities and other organisations that want to make their fleets more sustainable without compromising practical usability.
Electric transport for urban areas
The Farizon V7E was developed as a compact electric van for applications including urban distribution, maintenance work and last-mile delivery. The vehicle has a 7 m³ load volume, dual sliding doors and a loading length of up to 2.90 metres. With different battery options available, users can choose a version that matches their daily activities. According to Farizon, the V7E was designed from the ground up as an electric commercial vehicle. As a result, the drivetrain, battery and loading space are all optimised for electric operation.

Municipalities are also looking at electric driving
For municipalities and green companies, switching to electric commercial vehicles is becoming increasingly important. Especially in urban areas, compact electric vehicles can provide a solution for tasks where vehicles make many short journeys and regularly operate in residential areas or city centres.
Farizon is part of the range offered by Beherman Motors, which aims to support municipalities and other organisations in making their fleets more sustainable. In addition to Farizon, the company also represents the brands FUSO Trucks and Piaggio Commercial.
Two nominations in two years
Last year, Farizon received its first International Van of the Year nomination with the Farizon SV. This larger electric van finished second in the 2026 competition. With the nomination of the V7E, the brand is once again among the contenders. Michael Roosen, CEO of Farizon Benelux, describes the second nomination as an important recognition. 'Being nominated for the second consecutive year makes us extremely proud. The nominations for both the SV and the V7E show that we can meet different mobility needs of professional users.'
The winner of the International Van of the Year 2027 award will be announced later this year.
